Dales Renewables were approached to supply a quotation for the supply and fix of a wood
pellet boiler, central heating / domestic hot water (DHW) system to this farmhouse, adjoining
holiday cottage and neighbouring dwelling (owned by others) in the picturesque West
Yorkshire village of Oxenhope.
The main house has a heated floor area approx’ 160 sq. mtrs originally heated by an oil fired
boiler providing central heating & DHW via an indirect cylinder.
The holiday let cottage has a heated floor area approx’ 80 sq. mtrs with no central heating
system. A solid fuel stove with back boiler to sitting room provides heating to ground floor &
DHW to a direct 120 Litre. cylinder at first floor level.
The neighbouring cottage has a heating requirement of approx’ 80 sq.mtr, originally run off an
electric boiler, with under-floor heating and radiators.
